Cybersecurity Training Scenarios

Cyber Realm Training Boxes immerse you in real-world cyber attack simulations, designed to sharpen your defense and response strategies. Each scenario presents a unique challenge, outlining the attack type, potential impact, and critical response steps you’ll need to take to protect your systems.

Industrial Control Systems

The Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Training Box in Cyber Realm is designed to simulate real-world cyberattacks on critical infrastructure, giving players hands-on experience in both offense and defense. Through three immersive scenarios a ransomware attack on a power grid, an SSH brute-force attack on a vulnerable Linux server, and a data breach compromising ICS data players learn to identify vulnerabilities, understand attacker tactics, and implement effective defense strategies. This training box provides a realistic and educational environment that strengthens practical skills in protecting vital ICS environments from the evolving threat landscape.

Industrial Control Systems - Water

Cyber Realm: Water Sector Edition simulates real-world cyberattacks and defenses within a water utility environment. The Red Team is divided into three attacker tiers—Script Kiddies, Hacktivists, and Nation-State Adversaries—representing increasing levels of skill, resources, and impact. The Blue Team is divided into Small Water Organizations, Medium Water Organizations, and Large Water Organizations, each with different levels of cybersecurity maturity, staffing, and defensive capabilities.

Players experience realistic attack scenarios commonly seen in the water sector, including SSH and remote access attacks, weak/default credential exploitation, water overflow manipulation, ransomware incidents, DDoS disruptions, supply-chain compromises, and advanced nation-state intrusions targeting SCADA and industrial control systems (ICS). As attackers progress through the cyber kill chain, defenders must identify, protect, detect, respond, recover, and reinforce their infrastructure to maintain safe and reliable water operations.
